The office of the Director General of the Hospital coordinates all the activities within the hospital, leading the management committee of the hospital and representing the hospital in health committee. The Director General’s Office comprises of the following departments:

Director General
Dr Eulade RUGENGAMANZI is the Director General of Butaro Hospital, a position he has held since January 9, 2025. As a clinical oncologist, Dr Eulade brings a wealth of experience to his leadership role at the hospital. His background includes extensive training and service in healthcare especially in medical oncology, coupled with a strong dedication to patient care. As the Director General, he oversees the hospital's operations, ensuring high-quality medical services and advancing the hospital's mission to serve the community.
